Local & Regional History Research
I am an experienced local history researcher and can provide data, photos and information on cities & towns, local US regions and states as well as locations outside of the USA, particularly in Eastern and Central Europe.
Historical information, images and photos are a wonderful way to enhance a family history project and provide a unique window into the past. This type of research is often done in conjunction with genealogy research, but if you have a special request or need particular historical information for a project you are doing I would be happy to assist you.
Over the years I have created some special websites that are historical or commemorative in nature. The topics cover West Virginia Jewish History and also my family's ancestral towns in the Czech Republic and Poland. I have included links here for anyone who might be interested in viewing these websites. I work on them in my spare time and welcome correspondence from those who may share my interest in West Virginia Jewish History and from anyone whose family may come from my ancestral towns.
